Yiqi was ashamed to eat Zhou's corn
.
At the end of the Yin Dynasty, there were two famous hermits, one named Bo Yi and the other named Shu Qi, the sons of the monarch of the state of Lonely Bamboo, who fled and hid themselves in order to resign the throne of the state. When they heard of the rise of King Wen of the Zhou Dynasty, they came to him together. When King Wu of Zhou went to crush King Zhou, Bo Yi and Shu Qi advised and counseled him. The men around King Wu were about to strike them with their weapons. Jiang Taigong said, "These two people are very righteous people, so he helped Bo Yi and Shu Qi to go. When King Wu had pacified the chaos of the Yin Dynasty and gained the world, this was the Zhou Dynasty. Bo Yi and Shu Qi felt so ashamed that they refused to eat the corn of the Zhou Dynasty. They went to the Shouyang Mountain to live in seclusion, and they ate the grass, and then they died of starvation at the foot of the Shouyang Mountain.
